We did Reindeer art this year for Christmas.My favourite part was drawing and colouring the Reindeer.Here is mine!
We did a handwriting sample for the end of the year. We did one at start of the year. Here is mine. I think I could work on the size of my lowercase letters. I think I could do it a little tidier as well.
We did a writing choice board and I chose choice 2. I had to write about a cat and a girl. The girl was trapped in a jar.

The cat had green eyes and white fur with a pink collar and a bell attached with it. The cat’s name was PrettyPants. The human had brown eyes,brown hair and a blue mermaid tail and the human’s name was Jessie. PrettyPants wanted to eat Jessie but couldn’t because Jeissie was in a glass bowl.PrettyPants pounced at Jessie and knocked over the bowl.It shattered when it hit the ground.Jessie couldn’t breath! The cat swooped up Jessie.
PrettyPants took Jessie to a sink and turned the tap on. Jessie could breathe now. “Thank you,” said Jessie. “ You’re welcome,” said Prettypants. PrettyPants and Jessie had a conversation about how they were sorry for hurting each other. Then Prettypants got another glass bowl and put Jessie in it with water. The owners came back and saw both of them then hugged them. Jessie and PrettyPants became friends and started hanging out whenever the owners were out.
Both Jessie and PrettyPants were so sorry for what happened that they got gifts for each other and lived together happily.
Today we read a story called If I was a Banana by Alexandra Tylee & Kieran Rynhart. It was about a person who said if he was something, and the moral of the story is don’t change who you are,it’s great to be yourself.I chose to Build a volcano and make a bridge over it.

I like doing the alphabet and the self assessment.
I need to work on my size of lowercase r’s.
I also need to make sure my lowercase f’s are the right size and touch both lines.
I painted the background and pastels in all the circles making windy wind and movement in the artwork.
I liked designing the Eiffel Tower in sharpie.
I would change the background colours to all warm colours if I did this art again.
This year we made movies. I was in a group with Jade,Finley,Careeva,Victoria and Manaia. Here is my movie reflection and movie.

Last Monday we left for the Ski Trip.We did so much fun activities.We stayed at Piper’s Lodge.
For two weeks we have been doing E-symposium.We learnt a lot of cool stuff like pixel art,canva,animation,Google sheets game and silk.It was so fun.
For Play,Make,Create today, we read two stories called Olympig and Frog Olympics.I chose to be in a buddy and created an Olympic arena for a new animal using pompoms,cardboard,paper,Sharpie,pipe cleaner and popsicle sticks. It is a netball court.
